A little about yourself (i.e. what town you live in, where you grew up, family members, pets, occupation, etc…)? I live in Kokomo, grew up in Ohio, studied to be an art teacher, but ended up working for Delphi as a Circuit Bd. Designer. Retired early to raise a son and daughter and presently substitute teach. Daughter Morgan is studying pharmacy in Ft. Lauderdale (will be a sophomore) and son will be a senior at Indiana Academy. Two pets: cat Sassy, and New puppy Leo.
What are your hobbies besides glass? Enjoy gardening, scrapbooking, airbrushing, jewelry, just about any form of art. Used to be very involved in weaving and spinning.
How you got into glass? My younger sister fuses and slumps and by substituting in art classes that lampworking is taught.
Favorite glass quote or saying and why? “There Just Beads” ~ Michael Barley. Because it helps me not take my class beads so serious.
What you love about glass? The immediate result.
Where you sell your glass? So far eBay, word of mouth, bazaars, and local bead store.
Any publications where you’ve been featured (if applicable)? Not for lampwork.
